    Park and garden construction phases

    This kind of construction is done to create aesthetically pleasing natural areas in public or private spaces. It starts with a design taking in account the aesthetic and functional elements we want to incorporate. Once the preparation is done, we will start the project divided in the following phases:

    Soil movement

    To do this is necessary because of bad soil quality, large amounts of clay or shallow soil depth coming from stones or building ciments. We will introduce the soil that your area needs, so the plants can grow properly. The good soil always has to be on top, so the plants can access it.

    Masonry of gardening equipment

    For the area to be aesthetically pleasing and have a good amount of space to offer, it’s necessary to equip the garden with masonry as there can be some walls, stairs, pools, playing areas or even fountains. These activities can be done after or before putting the vegetable soil in.

    Light system installation

    For functionality as for aesthetic reasons, light systems are almost always necessary. Before its installation, we do a prior investigation on light spot distribution, to make it as smooth and pleasing as possible. It’s usually made of streetlights but we can also include flood lights or bollards.

    Creating drainage

    It’s not always necessary as it depends on the terrain. Nevertheless, we keep in mind that there can exist compact spots where the drainage can be extremely difficult creating puddles, and destroying the plants in the garden. To counterwork it, we create little drainage tubes in the necessary spots.

    Irrigation system installation

    Irrigation systems are necessary to water the plants and the lawn in its recommended amount. Depending on the plant species you’ll have in the garden, the irrigation systems are going to be different. To help you save water while irrigation and ease the process, we recommend installing an automatic system.

    Terrain preparation and garden planting

    For terrain preparation and before planting the lawn, we recommend using a series of fertilisers. After that, we start planting the previously chosen species, keeping in mind soil quality, the dimensions of the area, climate and the compatibility between the different species.

    There are a lot of things to keep in mind. First thing is to choose between natural and artificial lawn. If the natural is chosen and the type has been specified after the clients wish, we have to adapt the kind of soil, amount of necessary water and quantity of seeds. We recommend seed planting on large surfaces and sods on small ones.
